This Board's Story
Speed Egg
The speed egg measures right in the middle for volume and width. This contemporary modern egg has a thinner tail for responsiveness, which lets it work in overhead waves. It comes standard with a tri fin set up, a nice nose concave, and has a subtle rolled bottom. It’s finished out with a modern double concave.
The rail is more of an advanced volume, but the classic template keeps it plenty stable for guys up to 200+ lbs. Summer and mushy cliffs waves are the focus, but it can easily handle a jetty wave when it starts to drain out and stand up, due to the thinner tail. The rolled bottom helps loosen it up rail to rail when you’re in the middle of the board making mushy sections.
Shaped standard with a thumb tail, offering the best of both worlds between a squash and a round tail. However, the tail shape is easily altered to a round pin or baby round, if needed for your preference.
